“Healing starts at home—but more importantly, it starts with showing up for people where they are. Whether it’s a skilled nursing facility, family home, or rehab center, I meet patients in their moment of need. My mission is to reduce hospitalizations, preserve dignity, and deliver compassionate care one visit at a time.”

Our services include detailed wound assessments, debridement (sharp, enzymatic, or autolytic), and advanced wound therapies such as negative pressure wound therapy (wound vacs) and skin substitute applications. We specialize in managing chronic wounds—diabetic ulcers, pressure injuries, venous stasis wounds, and surgical dehiscence—using clinical best practices and outcome-driven protocols. Healing progress is tracked through WoundZoom

"You gave me my summer back."
In June 2025, a patient in Silver Spring, Maryland surprised Joanna with a bouquet of flowers and a box of dark chocolates after making a full recovery from a painful venous leg ulcer. Through skilled application of a skin substitute and consistent in-home wound care, her wound healed just in time to take a long-planned summer trip to Europe.
Woundworx is THE best! Joanna King is incredible. She is knowledgable, professional, kind, caring and thorough. She takes such good care of my Dad. He is so happy when he knows she is coming to do his wound. He feels so good after. If you ever need wound care- Woundworx is the only place to go!
A google search helped me find a life saver. Being a care giver is not easy and I just did not have it in me to manage my dad’s wounds. I really needed an expert in wound care, a professional, and great communication. We got all three. My Dad and I are super happy with the results in just two weeks.
